The incident has raised concerns about the Lawrence Bishnoi gang’s presence in Pune, particularly after the gang claimed responsibility for NCP leader Baba Siddiqui’s murder in Mumbai. The recent detention of a suspect from Warje area by Mumbai Police has further highlighted the gang’s alleged activities in the region.
