Karni Sena puts up Rs.1,11,11,111 reward for the encounter of Lawrence Bishnoi
The gang members even carried out shootings at the homes of AP Dhillon and Gippy Grewal in Canada
The Kshatriya Karni Sena has offered a reward for the encounter of Lawrence Bishnoi, a jailed gangster whose group claimed responsibility for the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique in Mumbai. Raj Shekhawat, the national president of Kshatriya Karni Sena, was heard in a video statement announcing a reward of ₹1,11,11,111 for any police officer who eliminates Lawrence Bishnoi, as per Navbharat Times.
Shekhawat mentioned that the reward would be given to any police personnel who carried out the encounter. He also criticized the Centre and the Gujarat government for the situation.
Lawrence Bishnoi is currently in Sabarmati jail in Gujarat for cross-border drug smuggling. He was also linked to a shooting outside Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai, but the Mumbai Police couldn’t get his custody. The Kshatriya Karni Sena leader mentioned Bishnoi as the one responsible for the death of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, who was the Karni Sena chief and was tragically killed in Jaipur in December 2023. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for Gogamedi’s murder shortly after the incident.
Bishnoi’s gang is active nationwide. They claimed responsibility for Baba Siddique’s murder and the shooting at Salman Khan’s house earlier this year. In September 2023, they also took credit for the killing of Sukha Duneke, a Khalistani sympathizer. The gang members even carried out shootings at the homes of AP Dhillon and Gippy Grewal in Canada. Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang allegedly targeted Baba Siddique due to his connections with Dawood Ibrahim and his close bond with Salman Khan. Salman Khan and his family have faced numerous death threats from Bishnoi over the past few years, leading to heightened security measures.
