Main Tum Logo Se Dur Rehta Hun', Says A Restaurant Owner to Food Vlogger, Video Goes Viral
A restaurant owner refused service to a food blogger when he noticed him filming his experience.
Food vloggers often document their culinary experiences for a wide audience, exploring various restaurants, capturing footage of their dishes, and providing reviews to help others decide where to dine. However, not all restaurant owners seem to be comfortable with this practice.
A recent incident involved a food blogger who was refused service at a restaurant when the owner spotted him recording. The owner voiced worries that the vlogger could potentially review the food unfavorably after his visit. Their interaction has since been shared online, garnering considerable interest from the audience.
A video shared on X shows a man recording his visit to a restaurant. After he orders spring rolls and pays in advance, the owner asks him to wait for the food to be prepared. Surprisingly, the owner soon comes back, refunds his money, and tells him to go to a different restaurant.

The video showcases a perplexed food vlogger who is expressing confusion about the circumstances. Meanwhile, the exasperated restaurant owner explains that he noticed the vlogger filming and raised concerns that the vlogger might initially provide a positive review on camera, only to later criticize the food, potentially damaging the restaurant’s reputation.
I prefer to maintain my distance from individuals of your nature. My restaurant is thriving, and I believe I can manage without the involvement of vloggers. The owner was saying in the video in Hindi.
The video sparked significant discussion online, as numerous social media users expressed their opinions.
One user stated, “Full support to the shopkeeper in this. No one is forcing anyone to eat there, but don’t hurt someone’s business especially when we are having zero Government support for anything.”
A concerned individual highlighted the growing problem of vloggers, stating, “This is good. There is a need to crack down on this gang that loots poor food sellers in the name of making videos. They are mushrooming in small cities and towns. They forcibly make videos. They eat for free. They also forcibly take money.”
