Pimpri, November 4, 2024: A commitment was made to ensure 100% voter turnout at polling centers within housing societies in the Pimpri, Bhosari, and Chinchwad constituencies. This resolution was made in a coordination meeting held between the Municipal Corporation, the Society Federation, and housing societies. The Municipal Corporation, under the guidance of Commissioner Shekhar Singh and Additional Commissioner and SWEEP Nodal Vijaykumar Khorate, has provided materials for voter awareness to all housing societies as part of the voter awareness campaign, according to Additional Commissioner Vijaykumar Khorate.

In preparation for the upcoming 2024 Assembly elections, a coordinated effort is underway to increase voter turnout in the Pimpri-Chinchwad region. Under the direction of Deputy Commissioner Anna Bodade, the Municipal Corporation’s voter awareness campaign has begun with the support of housing societies. At a recent meeting held at the main administrative office, representatives from the housing societies pledged to encourage 100% voter turnout at polling stations within society complexes. The meeting saw the presence of officials including Deputy Commissioner Bodade, Assembly Electoral Registration Officer Pankaj Patil, and Federation and Society leaders.

Additional Commissioner Khorate explained that a comprehensive plan has been developed to increase voter turnout across the three constituencies.
