Pune – In a shocking incident from Pune, an unknown man harassing a woman in a crowded marketplace was beaten by bystanders in broad daylight. The man was reportedly following the woman, making inappropriate gestures, and persistently telling her to get on his bike, even offering her money.
The woman, who had come to Pune’s Mandai area to shop for vegetables, initially attempted to leave the scene to escape the harasser. Despite her attempts, the man continued to follow her. Finally, after the woman shouted for help, a young passerby intervened, taking swift action and confronting the man directly. This led to a public altercation, where the harasser was beaten in full view of onlookers near the Swargate area.
During the incident, a patrolling police officer on a two-wheeler witnessed the commotion and took the man into custody. The video of the altercation has since gone viral on social media, sparking widespread discussion. Police are currently investigating the incident.
