November 6, 2024, Pune: Maharashtra, once leading in sectors like industry, agriculture, and education, has seen a downturn under the rule of the Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA), alleges Madhav Bhandari, BJP Vice-President for the state. Bhandari claims that due to rampant corruption and extortion practices by MVA leaders, several industries have moved out of Maharashtra. Additionally, he asserted that MVA halted the funds provided by the Modi government for housing under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, affecting the scheme’s implementation in the state.

Addressing a press conference at BJP’s West Maharashtra Media Center in Pune, Bhandari emphasized the significance of the upcoming assembly election, stating that it will determine whether Maharashtra will advance or regress. He called on voters to decide whether they want a government that fosters growth or one that stalls progress.

He further highlighted that, unlike during the MVA’s tenure, industries did not relocate outside Maharashtra under the previous Mahayuti government, which also saw a rise in foreign investment due to several progressive reforms.
