Pune: NIBM Road Siblings Excel At Dubai Mental Sports Championships
Pune, November 26, 2024: Rishaan Sandeep Khot (12) and Sara Sandeep Khot (8), siblings from Pune, have achieved remarkable success at two prestigious mental maths competitions: Memoriad World Mental Sports Olympics and the World Mind Sports Championship both held in Dubai from November 7 to 14, 2024.
At the Memoriad Olympics, which drew over 180 athletes from 35 countries, Rishaan clinched a gold medal in the challenging Mental Division category, successfully tackling 10-digit by 5-digit calculations. The Bishop’s School,Camp student continued his winning streak at the World Mind Sports Championship, securing the Champion Trophy in Auditory Math, along with runner-up positions in N-Fix, Chess, and Word Bank categories.
Not to be outdone, Sara, a second-grader at Delhi Public School, Undri, emerged as the Champion in Auditory Math at the World Mind Sports Championship, where only 150 participants qualified from a pool of 7,485 contestants.
Guided by Anand Mahajan and the Genius Kid Institute, the siblings have brought pride to Pune and India. Congratulations, Rishaan and Sara!
