Recently, actor Vivek Oberoi garnered significant attention for acquiring a lavish Rolls Royce Cullinan, which is estimated to be worth around ₹12 crore. Although he is not the first celebrity from Bollywood to own a Rolls Royce, many previous owners have been some of the industry’s leading superstars. In light of this, Vivek’s film career has not achieved comparable acclaim, leading to questions regarding how he was able to purchase such a luxurious car.
In the past twenty years, the actor has meticulously established a business empire that many Indian entrepreneurs would admire.
Vivek made his debut in Bollywood with the film Company in 2002. As time passed, however, his films began to struggle at the box office. The new projects he received did not match the caliber of his earlier work. There were rumors suggesting that he had been ‘boycotted’ from the industry due to his opposition to Salman Khan regarding his relationship with Aishwarya Rai.
Nevertheless, Vivek persevered, taking on roles in Telugu and Malayalam films such as Rakta Charithra and Lucifer, in addition to participating in web series like Inside Edge.
It may come as a surprise to some that Vivek Oberoi ranks among the wealthiest actors in India. According to various sources, including The Statesman, his net worth is estimated to be ₹1200 crore. This places him within the top 15, and potentially even the top 10, richest actors in the nation.
Oberoi began his journey in the stock market at the age of 16. The actor boasts a diverse portfolio of investments. In addition to his acting career, he partners with various brands in Dubai as a businessman and has established multiple fintech companies.
He initiated his investment journey in businesses concurrently with the start of his acting career. The majority of his wealth is derived from two primary ventures: a real estate firm known as Karma Infrastructure and an event management enterprise called Mega Entertainment. Additionally, Vivek is the founder of Aqua Arc, a significant project valued at 2,300 crores located on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, and he also co-founded Svarnim University.
He is additionally an angel investor in several startups.

Oberoi acquired an expansive bungalow in Juhu alongside his wife, Priyanka Alva, in 2019. The property, covering an area of 2,100 square feet, was purchased for Rs 14.25 crore.
