In a chilling case from Sikar, Rajasthan, a woman has been arrested for allegedly killing her husband and discarding his body outside their home. The incident, initially perceived as a tragic loss, unraveled into a heinous crime following a minor yet crucial observation by the police.

Body Discovered Near House

The victim, Purnaram, was found dead near the roadside outside his residence two days ago. His wife, Sunita, was seen mourning inconsolably beside the body, garnering sympathy from neighbors. However, during the investigation, police officials noticed an unusual detail: the house, especially Purnaram’s room, was exceptionally clean and organized, which seemed odd given the circumstances.

Key Observation Raises Suspicion

Indraraj Marodia, a police official, highlighted the spotless state of the house as an anomaly. Sunita claimed she cleaned the house late at night to avoid doing so in the morning, but her inconsistent statements fueled suspicion.

Confession and Arrest

Further inquiries revealed a tumultuous relationship between the couple, exacerbated by Purnaram’s alcoholism and frequent quarrels. Injury marks on the victim’s body indicated foul play. Under intense questioning, Sunita confessed to killing her husband. After the crime, she meticulously cleaned the house to erase evidence before discarding the body outside.

Ongoing Investigation

Sunita has been arrested, and forensic experts, along with sniffer dogs, are assisting in gathering additional evidence. Authorities are continuing their investigation to uncover more details surrounding the incident.

This case underscores how a minor observation, such as an unusually clean room, can become a critical lead in solving a crime.
