Pune: Students Left Stranded In Wagholi As Chandrapur Bank Exam Cancelled Without Notice
Pune: Over 200 aspiring candidates for the Chandrapur District Central Cooperative Bank examination were left disappointed on Thursday when they arrived at the examination center in Wagholi, only to find out the exam had been canceled without prior notice.
The cancellation triggered chaos at the center, as a large crowd of applicants gathered to express their frustration over the apparent mismanagement. Many of the students had traveled long distances, including from Chandrapur and Gadchiroli, incurring significant expenses to appear for the exam.
One of the candidates shared, “I came all the way from Chandrapur to Pune just for this exam. There was no official communication about the cancellation. Now, we’ve been told to wait until December 23 for the rescheduled exam. Staying in the city for the next two days is going to be very difficult for us.”
The incident has sparked anger among the students, who have criticized the authorities for their lack of coordination and transparency. They demanded that proper arrangements and timely communication be ensured in the future.
As the rescheduled exam date approaches, candidates are urging the bank to address their grievances and provide clarity about the logistics to prevent a repeat of this mismanagement. The Chandrapur District Central Cooperative Bank is yet to release an official statement on the issue.
