Pune: Grand Christmas Celebration Held By Shivanand Garden Residents In Wanowrie
It was once again a great opportunity for residents of Shivanand Garden Co-operative Housing Society, Wanowrie to come together and celebrate Christmas.
The program was well attended by a number of Senior Citizens, young people as well as Children.
Besides the singing of Carols, there was a brief message given by Trisha Shikhaliya on what Christmas is all about. The audience were thoroughly entertained by a mini Orchestra comprising of 4 persons led by and Gafar Momin and Vaiju Chandavale and anchoring done with great humour by Manish Gokhale & Prajakta Joglekar. The old songs sung were not only heart touching but made the audience go back to their joyful moments of yesteryears.
Then walked in Santa singing, dancing and greeting everyone which was quite delightful. Little children jumped in joy and kept rushing to him in excitement to collect their Gifts.
All the residents enjoyed sitting and dining together while the singing of the songs went on evoking a nostalgic feeling.
