A recent video featuring a mother and her toddler sitting at the edge of a roof has sparked a heated debate online. In the clip, the woman holds her child with one hand while they enjoy the view. Some viewers have criticized her as “reckless,” suggesting she’s putting the child in danger, while others defend her, believing she knows exactly what she’s doing as a mother.

The Instagram user and content creator Varsha Yadvanshi shared her video with the caption, “Good Morning everyone. I am a brave boy exploring the world and taking vitamin D with my beloved mom.”

In the footage, the mother wraps one arm around her child, who sits on the edge. The camera then pans down to reveal the considerable drop from the roof to the road below, along with close-ups of both the mom and her toddler.

This video has elicited mixed reactions on social media. Some users criticized the mother for potentially endangering her child, while others argued that she was fully aware of the situation and that there was no need for the backlash.

Many viewers expressed serious concern, criticizing the mother for allegedly putting her child at risk. One commenter harshly stated, “Some people should never be parents,” while another called for authorities to intervene, saying, “Police, please take care of the kid.” A third user labeled the situation as “the height of stupidity,” highlighting the potential dangers involved.

On the flip side, some users came to the mother’s defense, insisting that she was aware of her surroundings and in control of the situation. “She knows what she is doing,” one Instagram user pointed out.

In response to the backlash, Yadvanshi posted another video, stating, “Kindly listen to this video properly and understand the facts. And if you are not ready to understand, I don’t care.” She explained that she was actually holding her child with both hands during the recording, and the moment of her holding him with one hand was only captured after she stopped filming. Yadvanshi also addressed the critics directly, urging them not to give her parenting advice: “Don’t tell me how to raise my kid.”

What do you think about her response?
