Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde Receives Death Threat Via Email, Probe Underway
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has received a death threat via email, in which the sender threatened to bomb his car, police confirmed on Thursday.
The email was sent from an unknown account, prompting an immediate investigation.
According to information, the threatening emails were sent to multiple locations, including Goregaon and JJ Marg police stations, as well as the Mantralaya (state secretariat).
Authorities have launched a detailed probe into the matter.
