Exciting times await Navi Mumbai as it gears up to introduce “Wonder Park,” a grand new theme park set to redefine entertainment in the region. The MMR Growth Hub project, developed based on NITI Aayog’s recommendations, is focused on fostering economic growth in the country. The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has finalized plans and will oversee the execution of this large-scale venture.
As part of this initiative, Alibaug is set to be transformed into a prime tourism hub, with heritage forts in Mumbai and surrounding areas being preserved. A world-class theme park will be one of the key attractions, drawing visitors from across India and abroad.
This development is part of a broader strategy to position the MMR as a leading global economic hub. Various sectors, including industry, tourism, education, housing, health, infrastructure, and port development, will see significant advancements under this project.
Navi Mumbai’s First Government-Led Theme Park
While Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Thane are already home to several resorts and amusement parks, this will be the first theme park in Navi Mumbai developed through a government-backed initiative. Spanning 200 hectares, this massive entertainment destination is set to become a major landmark in the city.
Attractions at Wonder Park
Visitors can look forward to an exciting array of attractions, with reports suggesting around 35 rides, including adrenaline-pumping roller coasters, thrilling water slides, and live performances.

- Miniature Seven Wonders: One of the park’s most unique features will be scaled-down replicas of the Seven Wonders of the World, allowing guests to capture stunning photos with iconic landmarks such as the Taj Mahal and the Great Wall of China.
- Artificial Lake & Green Spaces: The park will also include an artificial lake, picnic areas, and a dedicated children’s play zone, making it a perfect destination for families.
