Pune: Man Assaulted Over Family Dispute In Wanowrie, Case Filed Against Four
A violent assault over a family dispute led to an attempted murder case being registered against four individuals in Wanwadi, Pune.
The victim, Mahendra Anil Kawade (36), a resident of Ganga Queen Society, Ghorpadi, was brutally beaten and seriously injured in the attack. According to the police, Kawade and the accused are relatives, and the assault stemmed from an ongoing family dispute.
The incident occurred on February 13 around 5:30 PM near Shitaladevi Temple Chowk in Wanwadi. The accused and their accomplices allegedly blocked Kawade’s path, physically assaulted him, and struck him on the head with a hard object, leaving him severely injured.
Following medical treatment, Kawade filed a complaint at Mundhwa Police Station, leading to an attempt to murder case being registered against four individuals. Police Sub-Inspector Bhimrao Manjare is currently investigating the case.
