Pune: 89th Trimurti Mahashivratri Festival Begins At Jagdamba Bhavan Temple With 15-Foot Coconut Shivling InstallationÂ
Pune: The 89th Trimurti Mahashivratri Festival commenced at Jagdamba Bhavan Meditation Retreat Center in Pisoli, organized by Prajapita Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vidyalaya. The event was graced by Rashtrapati Award winner and Maharashtra State Warkari Mahamandal President Krishnaji Ranjane Maharaj, MNS Mohamadwadi branch president Rohan Gaikwad, and senior Brahma Kumari leaders, including BK Sunanda Didi, BK Nalini Didi, and BK Usha Didi.
In his address, Krishnaji Ranjane Maharaj emphasized India’s deep spiritual heritage, uniting diverse sects through positive thoughts and righteous conduct. Rohan Gaikwad extended his congratulations to the organizers for the grand celebration. BK Nalini Didi highlighted the spiritual significance of Mahashivratri, while BK Rohini Didi guided attendees into a peaceful experience through Rajyoga meditation. The event also featured devotional songs by BK Mukesh and was compered by BK Bhagyashree.

The festival was inaugurated with the lighting of lamps and the hoisting of the Shiv flag. The main highlight of the event is a unique 15-foot Shivling made entirely of coconuts, alongside a holographic Shivling and a spiritual exhibition.
The Mahashivratri celebrations will continue from February 23 to 26, open to all devotees. As part of the event, BK Gyaneshwar Bhai and BK Bhakti Behn spread spiritual and social awareness through devotional singing in nearby villages, with over 400 villagers participating.
