Pune: Residents of Ganga Satellite Society in Wanowrie are facing severe inconvenience due to the unchecked garbage accumulation in the nala beside their society. The stagnant waste has led to a strong foul smell and a growing mosquito menace, raising health concerns.

Despite repeated complaints to the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), no action has been taken so far. According to residents, PMC usually conducts nala cleaning before the monsoon, but no work has been initiated this year.

“We are suffering due to the unbearable stench and mosquito infestation. The authorities must take immediate action,” said a resident.

Locals are urging PMC to address the issue urgently to prevent health hazards. They demand regular maintenance and proper waste management to avoid such situations in the future.
