Pune Municipal Corporation Launches ‘Rangyatra’ App For Online Booking Of Cultural Centers

Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s Tree Authority is organizing the ‘Ranjai Festival’ and the 28th Grand Fruits, Flowers, and Vegetable Garden Exhibition & Competition from March 7 to 9, 2025. The festival will feature Hindi-Marathi singing performances, dance, street plays, magic and puppet shows, games, and awareness programs, encouraging citizens to participate, as per Commissioner and Administrator Shekhar Singh.

The festival will be inaugurated on March 7 at 10:30 AM at Mayor’s Residence, Sector 27, near Sant Tukaram Garden, Nigdi-Pradhikaran, by Commissioner Shekhar Singh.

The event will have a special presence of Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murli Mohol and Deputy Chief Minister & Pune Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar. Other dignitaries attending include Higher & Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil, Sports & Youth Welfare Minister Dattatraya Bharane, Legislative Council Deputy Speaker Dr. Neelam Gorhe, and Minister of State for Urban Development Madhuri Misal.

MPs Medha Kulkarni, Sunetra Pawar, Supriya Sule, Shrirang Barne, and Amol Kolhe, along with MLAs Uma Khapre, Amit Gorkhe, Mahesh Landge, Anna Bansode, Shankar Jagtap, and Shankar Mandekar, will also be present. Adv. Gorakh Lokhande, a member of the Maharashtra SC-ST Commission, will attend.

Additional Municipal Commissioners Pradeep Jambhale Patil, Vijaykumar Khorate, and Chandrakant Indalkar, along with Assistant Commissioner of the Garden & Tree Conservation Department Umesh Dhakane, confirmed the participation of Marathi actress Mrunal Kulkarni on March 9.
