Watch: Drunk Driving Horror in Jaipur – 3 Killed, Several Injured as SUV Ploughs Through Crowd
A chilling case of reckless driving rocked Jaipur late Monday night as a speeding SUV, driven by a drunk man, tore through the city’s streets—killing three people and injuring several others. The driver, 62-year-old Usman Khan, a factory owner from Shastri Nagar, was reportedly intoxicated when he embarked on his deadly drive.
Terrifying Rampage Across the City
The mayhem began around 9:30 PM on MI Road, where the SUV collided with other vehicles before entering the narrow lanes of the Nahargarh police station area. There, the vehicle struck multiple motorcyclists and pedestrians, causing widespread panic and destruction.
According to Additional DCP (North) Bajrang Singh Shekhawat, most of the accidents occurred within a 500-meter stretch. Near the Santoshi Mata Temple, Khan’s SUV first rammed into a scooter and a bike, then ran over pedestrians who had fallen onto the road. The vehicle also smashed into parked cars outside the police station.
