Grand Ramanavami Celebrations held at Geeta Ashram in Pune
Geeta Ashram, Pune celebrated Ramanavami on Sunday 6 April, 2025. Devotees, as in previous years, enthusiastically participated in these spiritual celebrations. Ramanavami, commemorates the birth of Lord Rama and symbolizes the righteousness, triumph of good over evil and the importance of upholding moral values.
The programmes started at 12 noon with the chanting of RamaSthuthi, Deeparadhana & MahaPooja . In the evening there was Pooja, Archana and Vishnu Sahasranamam Chanting . Then there was the chanting of the Mahamantra , Recitation of the Ramaraksha Stotram & the Bala Kaanda . This was followed by a spiritual discourse and Mahaprasadam. The Programmes ended with a Bhajan. All the devotees and disciples participated very enthusiastically and were very invigorated by the divine spiritual celebrations.
Founded in 1998 by some close followers of Guruji Shri Padmanabhan Krishnadasa , the Geeta Ashram, Pune is dedicated to spiritual activities. The ashram, situated in Khadki, Pune, upholds the principle of “Nar Seva, Narayan Seva” (Service to Humanity is Service to God).
The various activities conducted by Geeta Ashram, such as bhajans, spiritual discourses, diverse puja ceremonies, yoga/pranayama classes, Sanskrit classes, and spiritual guidance on astrology, are all offered free of charge. The ashram serves as a center for spiritual knowledge and provides access to the spiritual literature authored by Guruji.
