IRCTC Launches Dev Bhoomi Yatra From Pune, Spiritual Train Tour Across North India To Begin On April 17
Pune: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has unveiled a special spiritual journey titled “Uttar Bharat Devbhoomi Yatra with Guru Kripa” under its Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train initiative. The train will depart from Pune Railway Station on Monday, 17 April 2025, embarking on a 10-day, 9-night pilgrimage across major sacred and heritage destinations in North India.
Covering a distance of approximately 5,000 kilometers, the tour will take pilgrims to significant religious and cultural sites including Haridwar, Rishikesh, Amritsar, Vaishno Devi (Katra), Mathura, Vrindavan, and Agra before returning to Pune.
Key Destinations and Highlights:
- Haridwar: Har Ki Pauri, Ganga Aarti
- Amritsar: Golden Temple, Wagah Border
- Katra: Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan
- Mathura & Vrindavan: Krishna Janmabhoomi, Banke Bihari Temple
- Agra: Taj Mahal
The Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train is equipped with Economy Sleeper, Comfort 3AC, and Comfort 2AC coaches and can accommodate up to 750 passengers. Boarding and deboarding points include Pune, Lonavala, Karjat, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Bhestan (Surat), and Vadodara.
