Pune: Fire Breaks Out In Mohammadwadi Home, Four Injured Including Two Children
Pune – A fire broke out early morning at around 4:30 AM in a second-floor flat located in Sai Colony, Wadkar Mala area of Mohammadwadi. As soon as the fire was reported, a fire engine from the Kale Borate Nagar Fire Station was dispatched to the spot.
Upon reaching the scene, firefighters observed that the blaze had engulfed a flat on the second floor of a two-storey building. A family of four—consisting of a man, a woman, and two children—suffered burn injuries in the incident. Firefighters promptly began dousing the flames while simultaneously rescuing the injured family members. With the help of local residents, the victims were rushed to a hospital for immediate medical treatment.
The fire caused significant damage to household items and belongings inside the residence. However, the exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Officials from the fire department confirmed that an investigation is underway to identify the reason behind the sudden outbreak.
