Meet Prakriti Malla—The Girl with the World’s Most Beautiful Handwriting
Kathmandu: In a time when typing on phones and laptops has become more common than writing by hand, a young girl from Nepal has amazed the world with her beautiful handwriting.
Prakriti Malla, a schoolgirl from Nepal, became famous in 2017 when a photo of her school assignment went viral on social media. At just 14 years old and studying in class 8, her handwriting was so neat and perfect that many people thought it was printed by a computer. Experts and netizens praised her unique talent, calling it the “world’s most beautiful handwriting.”
Prakriti’s writing style features clean, even spacing and perfect curves, almost like professional calligraphy. Her writing impressed not just the public but also professionals in the field of handwriting.

In recognition of her rare skill, the Nepalese Armed Forces honored her for her outstanding penmanship. This special award was a proud moment not only for Prakriti but for the entire country. She has shown that even in today’s modern age, old-school handwriting still holds value and beauty.
Prakriti also wrote a heartfelt letter to the UAE to mark their 51st Spirit of the Union celebration. She hand-delivered it to the UAE Embassy in Nepal, proving that handwritten messages can still leave a strong emotional impact.
Her story has reminded many people around the world that handwriting is more than just putting words on paper. Studies have shown that writing by hand helps with memory, thinking clearly, and learning better—especially for students.

While digital tools have made communication faster, Prakriti’s simple act of writing beautifully has brought global attention to a fading art. Her journey has inspired many to start writing by hand again and appreciate its importance in both education and everyday life.
