Pune, June 12 – Baramati MP Supriya Sule has raised serious concerns over the integrity of the NEET examination process following allegations by a student from Pimpri-Chinchwad about tampering of her OMR sheet. Sule has demanded a thorough investigation and strict action against those responsible.

The student, Muskan Shaikh, a resident of Ravet, claimed that her OMR sheet shared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) did not match the one she filled during the exam held on May 4. Her family also alleged discrepancies in her personal details. Muskan’s father, Vasim, submitted a formal complaint to the NTA’s Delhi office on June 10, after emailing the agency on June 3.

The controversy took a more serious turn when Muskan lodged a non-cognisable offence with Ravet police on June 8, reporting that two masked men on a black scooter threatened her around 6.45 pm while she was cycling near Adarshnagar. According to her complaint, the men warned her and her family against pursuing the matter further, threatening them with dire consequences.

“Such incidents raise grave concerns about the transparency and integrity of an examination as important as NEET. If students’ answer sheets are manipulated in this manner, it puts their future at stake and casts a shadow on the credibility of the entire examination process.”

Police is currently investigating the threat complaint.

The NTA released provisional answer keys and OMR sheets on June 3, with the deadline for objections ending on June 5. The final results are scheduled to be announced on June 14.
