115 New Aadhaar Enrollment Kits Approved For Pune District
Pune, June 14, 2025: The District Collector’s office had invited applications for the distribution of new Aadhaar enrollment kits. A total of 356 applications were received, out of which 272 were found eligible. On June 12, under the chairmanship of the Pune District Collector, a lottery was conducted in the presence of all eligible applicants to allocate the Aadhaar kits.
Out of the total eligible applications, 115 applicants were granted approval to receive new Aadhaar enrollment kits, subject to terms and conditions.
For rural areas, 65 Aadhaar centers were announced as vacant, and 62 applicants were allotted centers through the lottery process.
In municipal council areas, all 7 vacant centers were allocated to 7 applicants.
In the Pune Municipal Corporation area, 22 vacant centers were announced, and all 22 were allotted accordingly.
In the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation area, out of 28 vacant centers, 24 were allotted to applicants through the draw.
Present at the lottery and kit distribution event were Additional District Collector Suhas Mapari, Deputy Collector and Aadhaar Nodal Officer Pallavi Ghatge, and members of the Aadhaar Kit Distribution Committee.
