MHADA Pune Invites Online Applications For Affordable Flats And Commercial Spaces In Western Maharashtra Region
Pune: MHADA Extends Deadline to November 30 for Pune Housing Scheme Applications
Pune, June 16, 2025 – The Pune Housing and Area Development Board has invited citizens to register online for residential flats and commercial spaces through various schemes in Pune, Solapur, Sangli, Satara, and Kolhapur districts. As per the provisions of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development (Estate Management, Sale, Transfer and Exchange of Premises) Regulations, 1981 and MHADA Act (Land Disposal) Rules, 1981, a total of 52 non-residential units and 28 office spaces will be allotted through an e-auction process .
Citizens are encouraged to visit the official websites www.eauction.mhada.gov.in and www.mhada.gov.in for detailed eligibility criteria, unit details, social reservations, terms and conditions, and online application guides, as stated by the Board’s Chief Officer.
MHADA Pune also plans to allot unsold flats from the 15% Social Housing Scheme and the 20% Inclusive Housing Scheme on a “first-come, first-served” basis , based on reports received from developers. The online registration for these flats has already started from April 10, 2025 at 12:00 PM , through the https://bookmyhome.mhada.gov.in/ portal. Eligible applicants from the general category are urged to complete the registration and apply for available units.
As new unsold flats become available, the distribution to eligible applicants will continue on a rolling basis using the same “first-come, first-served” policy.
Following the announcement of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0 by the Prime Minister on November 17, 2024 , the Maharashtra Government has issued a directive to implement the scheme in the state, aiming to fulfill the vision of “Housing for All.”
Accordingly, MHADA Pune plans to launch housing projects offering affordable homes under this scheme. Beneficiaries who wish to apply for flats under PMAY 2.0 should register on the unified web portal at: https://pmaymis.gov.in/PMAYmis2 2024/Auth/Login.aspx
The entire allocation process is online and transparent . All allotment letters are issued digitally with the e-signature of MHADA’s Deputy Chief Officer and are available in the applicant’s login. No physical signatures or rubber-stamped allotment letters are issued, clarified Chief Officer Rahul Sakore in an official press release.
