The Delhi High Court has issued an interim order directing Patanjali Ayurved to take down advertisements that allegedly malign Dabur’s Chyawanprash products.

The order was passed on Thursday by Justice Mini Pushkarna after Dabur filed a suit claiming that Patanjali had released advertisements that were disparaging and damaging to its brand reputation.

The court’s directive comes in response to Dabur’s assertion that the ads mislead consumers and create a negative impression of its long-standing Ayurvedic health supplement.

According to legal platform Bar and Bench, the court has now restrained Patanjali from continuing with such promotional content until further notice.
