Traffic Policeman Dies Of Heart Attack While On Duty In Pune
Pune, July 10, 2025 – Dhanaji Bharat Vanve (42), a police constable from the Pune city traffic branch, passed away after suffering a massive heart attack while on duty.
The incident occurred at Katraj Mandai Chowk where Vanve was managing traffic. Around 6:45 AM on Wednesday, Vanve, who was posted at the Bharati Vidyapeeth traffic division, suddenly felt dizzy and collapsed at the spot.
He was immediately rushed to Sai Sneh Hospital for treatment, but doctors declared him dead before any medical intervention could be carried out, confirming that he had suffered a severe heart attack.
Vanve’s sudden demise has left his colleagues in shock and grief. He is survived by his parents, wife, a daughter, and a son.
