Pune | July 14, 2025: As Maharashtra gears up for local body elections, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has instructed Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction) workers and office bearers to begin preparations in full swing.

In a crucial meeting held in Pune, Pawar emphasized strengthening the party’s organizational base and increasing outreach in every ward of Pune city. “The elections are approaching fast. I have asked party workers to register new members and expand our presence at the grassroots level. I will personally review the progress in August,” Pawar said while addressing the gathering.

Speaking to the media, Pawar added, “Earlier, Pune Municipal Corporation was under our control. For years, we have been in power in both municipal bodies. Now, we must focus on rebuilding the organization to prepare for the upcoming polls.”
