Pune, July 15, 2025: Taking a big leap towards sustainability, Sanjeevani Sangam Phase 1, located near Vibgyor School Road, Sus, inaugurated its 15kW solar power plant on Tuesday. The initiative is expected to make the society energy-efficient while promoting eco-friendly living.

The event was graced by esteemed guests including Kiran Chandere, Sudeep Padale, Ramesh Dhangar, and Rohan Deshpande. Their encouragement and support were acknowledged as instrumental in bringing the project to life.

The solar plant is set to generate significant savings for the society, reducing electricity expenses by approximately ₹30,000 per month and an estimated ₹3.6 lakh annually. More importantly, it is a step towards reducing the community’s carbon footprint and inspiring other housing societies in Pune to adopt renewable energy solutions.

“This project is a reflection of our commitment to the Go Green initiative. It is not just about financial savings, but also about creating a healthier, sustainable environment for future generations,” said Mukesh Waghadhare, a representative of the Sangam Phase 1 committee.
