Pune, July 26, 2025: An official from the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Road Department visited the locality today following repeated complaints from residents about deteriorating road conditions. The visit was facilitated by the KHSWA (Kondhwa Handewadi Societies Welfare Association) team, which accompanied the official to inspect the internal and connecting roads in the area.

During the inspection, the KHSWA team highlighted several pressing issues, including deep potholes, broken road surfaces, uneven patches, and a faulty drainage system that leads to regular waterlogging. These issues, they explained, have become a major source of daily inconvenience for residents and are creating serious safety hazards, especially for school-going children, senior citizens, and two-wheeler riders. The poor road conditions have also impacted the smooth movement of traffic and emergency vehicles.

The residents demanded immediate intervention by the PMC to carry out essential repairs, including road resurfacing, drainage upgrades, and a long-term maintenance plan. The team ensured that the ground realities were thoroughly conveyed to the concerned officer during the visit.
