Tiranga Yatra Organised At Pune Airport Under ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Initiative
Pune, 13 August 2025 – Pune Airport organised a spirited Tiranga Yatra at 1130 hrs as part of the Government of India’s Har Ghar Tiranga initiative to promote patriotism and unity ahead of Independence Day.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from AAI, CISF, AAICLAS, airlines, ground handling agencies, concessionaires, and students from Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV). Leading the Yatra, KV students marched with rhythmic drum beats, proudly carrying the National Flag. The Airport Director and Chief Airport Security Officer (CISF) joined the front ranks, showcasing the collaborative spirit of the airport community.
The parade route began at the terminal forecourt, passing through key passenger areas, creating a vibrant patriotic atmosphere. Passengers paused to witness, photograph, and join in the patriotic chants, offering both domestic and international travellers a glimpse of India’s cultural pride.
