Pune Metro Extends Service Hours Till 2 AM for Ganeshotsav, 41-Hour Non-Stop Run on Anant Chaturdashi
Pune, August 21, 2025: Pune Metro has announced extended service hours during the upcoming Ganeshotsav to ensure hassle-free travel for devotees and to reduce traffic congestion in the city’s central areas.
From August 30 to September 5, trains will operate until 2 AM, allowing late-night commuters and festival visitors to travel comfortably. On Anant Chaturdashi (September 6–7), Pune Metro will run continuously for 41 hours, starting at 6 AM on September 6 and continuing until 11 PM on September 7, ensuring round-the-clock service for immersion processions.

Key stations such as District Court, Kasba Peth, Mandai, and Swargate, located near major Ganesh Mandals, will benefit devotees seeking convenient access while avoiding heavy road traffic.
Metro Service Schedule for Ganeshotsav 2025
- August 27–29: 6 AM to 11 PM (Regular Schedule)
- August 30 – September 5: 6 AM to 2 AM
- September 6–7 (Anant Chaturdashi): 41-hour Non-Stop Service (6 AM – Sept 6 to 11 PM – Sept 7)
- From September 8: Regular schedule resumes
