PCMC’s Participatory Budget 2025–26 Sees 350 Citizen Proposals In Two Weeks
Pimpri Chinchwad, August 30, 2025: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has received more than 350 responses from citizens for its Participatory Budget 2025–26, within just two weeks of its launch on August 15.
Residents from all eight zones have begun submitting proposals for civic works, including roads, parks, footpaths, water supply, and other infrastructure improvements.
For the upcoming fiscal year, PCMC has earmarked 10% of property tax collections from each zone to fund projects suggested by citizens. In 2024–25, over ₹136.98 crore was allocated to 499 projects through the participatory model.

The submission window will remain open until September 15.
