The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a special Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train that will cover seven revered Jyotirlinga shrines across India. This 12-day religious tour is set to begin on November 18, 2025, from Yog Nagri Rishikesh Railway Station and promises a deeply spiritual and memorable experience for all passengers on board.
The journey will span from November 18 to November 29, 2025, offering a comprehensive 11 nights and 12 days itinerary. Pilgrims will get the opportunity to seek blessings at
Omkareshwar
Mahakaleshwar

In addition to these seven major temples, the tour also includes visits to other spiritual sites like the famous Dwarkadhish Temple and Bet Dwarka, adding further value to the spiritual experience.
The tour begins and ends at Yog Nagri Rishikesh and follows a route that takes pilgrims across multiple states. From Omkareshwar and Mahakaleshwar in Madhya Pradesh, the train proceeds to Gujarat for darshan at Nageshwar and Somnath. From there, it heads to Maharashtra for Trimbakeshwar, Bhimashankar, and Grishneshwar Jyotirlingas before returning to the starting point.

The Comfort category (2AC) includes 49 berths, the Standard category (3AC) has 70 berths, and the Economy category (Sleeper Class) offers 648 berths. Prices for the tour package start from Rs. 24,100 per person for the Economy class.

All passengers are required to carry valid ID proof such as Voter ID or Aadhaar Card and must have completed their COVID-19 vaccination. The tour will only be operated if the minimum number of passengers is booked, as per IRCTC guidelines. Additionally, at certain locations like Ganga Sagar, ‘freshen-up’ facilities for standard and superior category passengers will be provided in shared dormitories.
