World leaders extend greetings as BJP begins ‘Sewa Pakhwara’ to mark the occasion
Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrates his 75th birthday on Wednesday, September 17, with greetings pouring in from across the globe. US President Donald Trump and Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov were among the world leaders who extended congratulations, praising PM Modi’s leadership in advancing global cooperation, sustainable development, and peace.
Staying true to his tradition of marking birthdays with public service, Modi will dedicate the day to citizens’ welfare. In Madhya Pradesh, he will launch two major health initiatives – ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar’ and the ‘8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah’ campaigns – the largest outreach of its kind for women and children in India. More than one lakh health camps will be organised nationwide across government facilities from September 17 to October 2. He will also inaugurate Adi Seva Parv in tribal regions of the state, focusing on service-oriented activities.
Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has rolled out its annual ‘Sewa Pakhwara’, a fortnight-long series of welfare activities across the country, symbolising Modi’s commitment to service and citizen welfare.
