Parents and residents are raising serious concerns over daily traffic chaos near Vibgyor and GK School, where unmanaged traffic, illegal parking, and poor road conditions are putting children at risk.

Every morning, the area witnesses long jams as school buses, parents’ vehicles, and commuters converge. The absence of traffic police adds to the disorder, with vehicles parked haphazardly and frequent honking. Residents fear it is only a matter of time before a serious accident occurs.

Parents also pointed out the poor condition of the road in front of Vibgyor School, which is covered in mud and becomes dangerously slippery, especially during rains. Ongoing road construction work has worsened the situation, leaving stretches unfinished and hazardous.

“The situation is unbearable every morning. Without traffic police, vehicles block every space, even near intersections. Children often slip on the muddy road. Authorities must act before a major mishap,” said Anjali Deshmukh, a parent.

Residents added that the chaos affects all commuters, with slow-moving construction, potholes, and constant arguments on the road making matters worse. They demanded strict parking rules, better signage, and urgent action from authorities.

Responding to complaints, BJP Pimpri-Chinchwad City president Shatrughna Kate said fines for haphazard parking are being considered, and schools have been instructed to regulate parent parking to reduce congestion.
Traffic congestion has become a serious concern among the residents of Pimple Saudagar in the last few years. The residents are seeking solution from Pimpri Chinchwad traffic police as well as PCMC to resolve the issues.
