Pimpri, September 23, 2025: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has appealed to property owners to pay their property tax on time. Citizens who clear their property tax dues online before September 30, 2025, will receive a direct 4% rebate on the general tax. Only seven days remain to avail this benefit. Those who fail to pay by the deadline will face a 2% penalty every month.

Between April 1 and September 22, 2025, PCMC has collected ₹595.24 crore in property tax. The city has 7.26 lakh properties (residential, non-residential, commercial, and industrial), out of which 4.61 lakh property owners have paid their tax this year. Among them, 3.80 lakh citizens paid online and availed the rebate.

Tax collection is being carried out through 18 divisional offices, along with online and mobile app facilities for citizens’ convenience.

Strict Action Against Defaulters
PCMC will take strict measures against property owners with dues exceeding ₹25,000. Actions include vehicle seizure, disconnection of water supply, and attachment of non-residential properties. Additional Commissioner Pradeep Jambhale Patil has directed officials to implement these measures firmly, stating that property tax is a major revenue source for PCMC and timely payment accelerates city development.
