Pune: Maharashtra Govt Announces Recruitment For 903 Surveyor Posts; Online Applications Open From October 1 to 24, 2025
Pune, September 30, 2025 – The Maharashtra Land Records Department has announced the recruitment of 903 posts in Group C for the Surveyor category. Interested candidates can submit their online applications from October 1 to 24, 2025.
Out of a total of 1,160 vacant Surveyor posts across the state, 903 will be filled through direct recruitment. The distribution of vacancies by region is as follows: Pune – 83, Konkan (Mumbai) – 259, Nashik – 124, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar – 210, Amravati – 117, and Nagpur – 110.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must have either a Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized college or institution, or a Surveyor Trade Certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI Surveyor) after secondary school.
A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the examination, followed by document verification according to social and horizontal reservation. The final selection list and waiting list for each division will then be published, according to Dr. Suhas Divase, State Commissioner of Land Records and Director of Land Records.
