CNG, Domestic PNG Prices Hiked In Pune From June 16; CNG To Cost Rs 95.75/kg
Pune, June 15,.2026: Retail price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for vehicular segment in Pune city including
Pimpri-Chinchwad and adjoining areas of Chakan, Talegaon and Hinjewadi shall be undergoing upward revision of Rs. 1.00/- per KG (including taxes) and accordingly, the CNG retail selling price shall be revised to Rs. 95.75/- per KG with effect from midnight of 15th/16th June 2026.
Due to increase in input cost of natural gas for the CNG segment, it has become necessary to upwardly revise the CNG price. Despite this marginal revision, CNG still offers attractive savings of around 47% in comparison to petrol and around 25% as compared to diesel at current price levels in Pune city for passenger car segment and around 25% for Autorickshaws.
Similarly, Domestic PNG price has marginally been revised from Rs. 50.65/- per SCM to Rs. 51.50/- per SCM w.e.f. midnight of 15th /16th June 2026 in the above areas.
