Pune: Team Swachh Kalyani Nagar Traffic Drive 2025 Champions Road Safety And Civic Awareness
Pune, October 2, 2025: On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Team Swachh Kalyani Nagar organized its annual Traffic Drive 2025 to promote awareness about road safety and responsible driving. The drive brought together school, students, and residents of Kalyani Nagar, uniting the community under the message that safe roads mean safer lives.
The event commenced with an assembly at PMC Sports Ground, Enfield Arena, short lecture and games to break the ice . Walk down – march along Central Avenue chanting slogans about safe Traffic and encroachment free footpaths . Assembly at Gold adlabs chowk to imbibe traffic compliance and short briefs by the Traffic police delegates.
Despite it being Dusshera , more than 70 participants were involved , including students, Resident volunteers , and traffic police carrying placards, chanting slogans, and engaging passersby with messages on safe driving, pedestrian rights, and traffic discipline.
Speaking at the event, Jaffar Iqbal Secretary TSKN, said, “The Traffic Drive is not just a march, but a reminder that every citizen has a role in making our roads safer. Through consistent awareness and collective action, we can prevent accidents and save lives.”
The march concluded with refreshments and beverages served to all participants.
Team Swachh Kalyani Nagar has been organizing the Traffic Drive annually to spread awareness on issues of traffic safety, cleanliness, and civic discipline. The initiative has steadily grown in reach and impact, encouraging more residents and schools to join hands each year.
