Pune: Pisoli Man Confesses To Killing Partner At Wakad Lodge, Surrenders To Kondhwa Police
Pimpri-Chinchwad, October 12, 2025: A 26-year-old woman was found murdered at a lodge in Wakad on Saturday afternoon. The accused, identified as 25-year-old Dilawar Singh from Pisoli, allegedly killed his partner over suspicions of infidelity and later surrendered himself at the Kondhwa Police Station.
According to police officials, Singh confessed to the crime upon surrendering. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 2) Vishal Gaikwad stated that the Kondhwa Police immediately informed their counterparts at Wakad Police Station about the confession. The victim has been identified as Mary Mallesh Telagu (26), a resident of Dehu Road.
As per Singh’s statement, he and Telagu had checked into Hotel Ambience Inn in the Kala Khadak area of Wakad earlier that day.
While there, Singh allegedly went through Telagu’s mobile phone and found intimate photos of her with another man. Enraged by what he saw, Singh reportedly attacked her using a knife and a wrench he had brought with him.
Following his confession, a police team from Wakad visited the hotel and discovered Telagu’s body in the room. The Wakad Police have registered a murder case and taken Singh into custody. An investigation is underway to gather further evidence and verify the sequence of events.
