Residents in several parts of Pune will face a complete water supply shutdown on Thursday, October 30, as the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) carries out major repair and maintenance work on key pipelines.

According to officials, water supply will be stopped for the entire day to fix leaks on the main Parvati Water Works pipeline leading to the Lashkar Water Station, and to carry out maintenance on the Bhama Askhed project line.

Virendra Kelkar, Superintendent Engineer of the Lashkar Water Supply Department, said the work is necessary to prevent future leakages and maintain stable water pressure. Water supply is expected to be restored gradually by Friday, October 31, but residents may experience low pressure or delays.
