Watch: Tourists flee without paying ₹10,900 bill at Rajasthan restaurant, caught in traffic jam
Tourists from Gujarat Caught After Skipping Restaurant Bill in Rajasthan
A group of tourists from Gujarat landed in trouble after trying to skip a restaurant bill worth ₹10,900 in Rajasthan.
Police said five people, including a woman, had checked into a hotel near Mount Abu on Monday. After having a large meal, they attempted to leave without paying by slipping out of the restaurant one by one, pretending to go to the restroom.
By the time the staff noticed, the group had already driven off towards the Rajasthan-Gujarat border. CCTV footage from the restaurant showed their vehicle leaving the premises.
However, their escape didn’t last long — they got stuck in traffic near the border, where they were caught with the help of the hotel owner and handed over to the police.
