Young Innovators Shine at CBSE Science Exhibition 2025–26 Hosted by Amanora School
The CBSE Regional Science Exhibition 2025–26, held at Amanora School, Pune, on the 14th and 15th of November 2025, concluded with resounding success, showcasing the creativity, curiosity, and innovative spirit of young learners from across CBSE-affiliated schools. The two days’ mega event revolved around the central theme “STEM for Viksit and Atmanirbhar Bharat” The event brought together 147 teams (students of grades VI to XI) from all across Maharashtra, each presenting original, research-based exhibits aligned with national priorities in science and technology.
The exhibition opened with a warm welcome to the audience, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest Dr. Triveni Goswami Mathur and jury members appointed by the CBSE namely Dr. Rupali Dilip Gaikwad, Dr. Varsha Shriram, Dr. V. T. Borkar, Dr. Aparna Narayan Kekan, Dr. Punam Nilesh Wani, and Mr. Vijay Shivaji Ghare set an auspicious tone for the ceremony. A soulful Ganesh Vandana by the students added grace to the morning.
In a symbolic gesture representing the exhibition’s central vision, Dr. Mathur sowed a seed, triggering the illumination of a thematic tree installation that highlighted the sub-themes of the exhibition—Sustainable Agriculture, Waste Management and Alternatives to Plastics, Green Energy, Emerging Technologies, Recreational Mathematical Modelling, Health and Hygiene, and Water Conservation and Management.

In her keynote address, Dr. Mathur urged students to nurture curiosity, explore the “Why,” and view the world with wonder and thoughtful questioning and proceeded to formally declare the Science Exhibition open. The second day drew to a celebratory close as the eminent panel of judges announced the prize winners across the various sub-themes.
After 2 days of intensive questioning and scrutiny, the judges selected one outstanding team from each category of the sub-themes. Thus 14 teams rose to the top for their innovative ideas and exceptional creations and would now proudly represent the state of Maharashtra at the National Science Exhibition 2025-26.
The Director Principal of Amanora School, Ms Meera Nair, along with the judges, extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all participants. The students beamed with pride as they received certificates and trophies, marking the culmination of months of hard work and dedication.

The judges commended the exhibits for their creativity, scientific depth, and problem-solving approach—all strong indicators of a growing scientific temperament among students.
The CBSE Science Exhibition 2025–26 stood as a powerful testimony to India’s bright future—one where classrooms are alive with young scientists, thinkers, and innovators. Through their curiosity, dedication, and imagination, these learners are poised to shape a truly Viksit and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
