DLSA organises awareness seminar on environmental laws for children

Concerned about the environmental issues, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Pune in collaboration with Pune Municipal Corporation’s (PMC) Primary Education Board, Lions Club of Pune Vidhidnya, Sagar Mitra, Bar Association of National Green Tribunal (NGT) organised awareness seminar on Environmental Laws and Degradation of Human Rights related to plastic waste, e-waste, medical waste virtually for the students from 265 government schools in Pune.

The campaign was organised in collaboration with Bar Association of NGT & various NGOs like Lions Club, Purnam Ecovision, Harit Mitra Parivar, Divine Jain Group, Lokseva Pratishthan and government departments like MPCB, PMC Education Department, PCMC Education Department.
JMFC Gajanan Kulkarni, explained about noise pollution.
Mangal Kashyap, Secretary, DLSA explained the scope of DLSA and need of awareness on Environmental laws.
