Reinforcing its commitment to empower India’s rapidly evolving business and marketing ecosystem, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEE) hosted a high-impact Pune chapter of its flagship initiative R.I.S.E (Results, Integration, Strategy and Engagement). After successful editions across Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata and Coimbatore, the Pune chapter added fresh energy to the initiative by bringing together marketers, entrepreneurs, brand custodians, investors and regional business leaders for an evening dedicated to collaboration, strategic learning and future-ready brand building.

True to its immersive and interactive format, Z R.I.S.E Pune featured insightful keynote conversations, category-focused sessions and experiential showcases that demonstrated how ZEE’s integrated advertising ecosystem helps brands scale with purpose and impact. The evening began with an address by Laxmi Shetty, Head – Advertisement Revenue (Broadcast & Digital), ZEE, who emphasized the strength of ZEE’s omnichannel infrastructure and its growing importance in delivering value-first outcomes for advertisers. She highlighted how the company’s deep content expertise, extensive reach and blended media solutions continue to make ZEE a trusted partner for brands across sectors.

The sessions that followed brought powerful insights from leaders representing varied industries. Angel investors with experience across Tech, FinTech, Auto and Health-Tech shared their perspectives on why they chose to back eMedica, appreciating its vision in the fast-growing health-tech space. Adding to the discussion, Sunil Musti, Investor & Head of Strategy at Medica, and Hemanth Rohera, Founder & CEO of Medica, reflected on how a diversified advertising mix can help emerging health-tech startups achieve stronger visibility, deepen consumer trust and accelerate growth.

The program also spotlighted compelling brand stories from legacy businesses. Zelam Chaubal, Director of Kesari Tours Pvt. Ltd., narrated the evolution of Kesari’s brand identity and how traditional categories can reinvent themselves through fresh positioning and strategic communication. Girish Chitale, Partner at Chitale Group, offered thoughtful insights on how product excellence, backed by consistent quality and disciplined practices, plays a crucial role in shaping long-term brand impact. In one of the evening’s most practical segments, Manoj Gokhale, Director – Media & TA, delivered clear, actionable insights in his session “The Media Mix Decoded.” His talk guided attendees on navigating the complexities of media planning with a balanced approach that blends strategic thinking with data-backed decision-making.

Adding a cultural dimension to the event, Tanmay Kanitkar, Director of Anuroop Wiwaha Pvt. Ltd., delved into the changing dynamics of marriage in India and how evolving social behaviours shape consumer expectations and brand connections.

Across all conversations, the event highlighted ZEE’s integrated, tech-enabled portfolio—spanning more than 50 television channels, ZEE5 (OTT), a vast YouTube network, social media platforms, regional IPs and influencer collaborations.
