Pune: PMRDA Cracks Down On Unauthorized Plotting In Purandar Taluka
Purandar, November 22, 2025: The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has launched a strict campaign against the rising cases of unauthorized plotting and the resulting exploitation of citizens in Purandar Taluka. Over the past two days, enforcement actions were carried out in Devdi, Ambodi, and Kalewadi.
So far, surveys of 15 villages in Purandar Taluka have been completed, and immediate action is being taken wherever unauthorized plotting is detected.
Key actions undertaken include:
- Demolition of illegal plots
- Removal of unauthorized internal roads
- Removal of illegal demarcation poles
The campaign is being executed under the guidance of Municipal Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase, with active participation from Deputy Commissioner of the Unauthorized Construction Removal Department Dr. Deepti Suryavanshi-Patil, Sub-Divisional Officer Kiran Kumar Kakde, and the PMRDA enforcement team.
PMRDA has issued a warning to citizens to verify the legal status of any land before making a purchase. The authority also confirmed that the campaign against unauthorized plotting will continue in the coming days.
