Weather Alert For February 24: Next 3 Hours Critical for Vidarbha as Unseasonal Rain Returns, Yellow Alert Issued for Multiple Districts
Maharashtra has been experiencing noticeable weather fluctuations over the past two days, bringing relief to citizens from the intense cold. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), cloud cover across several regions has pushed up minimum temperatures, reducing the overall chill. Here’s a detailed look at the weather forecast for Tuesday.
Mumbai witnessed cloudy conditions on Monday, but the IMD predicts clear skies and dry weather on Tuesday. The maximum and minimum temperatures in Mumbai and its suburbs are expected to remain around 34°C and 23°C respectively.
In Western Maharashtra, including Pune, cloudy conditions have persisted. Pune is likely to see similar weather on Tuesday, with the minimum temperature expected to be around 18°C. The cloud cover is likely to reduce the cold significantly.
North Maharashtra, which recently faced severe cold, has also seen a rise in maximum and minimum temperatures due to the cloudy atmosphere. Nashik may record a minimum temperature of around 17°C.
Marathwada reported cloudy skies on Monday, resulting in a drop in cold intensity. However, clear skies are expected in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on November 25, which could bring a slight increase in chill during early mornings and nights.
Vidarbha is likely to experience a rise in both minimum and maximum temperatures, offering relief from the cold wave. In Nagpur, the IMD forecasts a maximum temperature of around 30°C and a minimum of 16°C on November 25.
Last week, several regions in Maharashtra witnessed severe cold conditions. The current cloudy spell has eased the chill, offering much-needed comfort to residents across the state.
