Pune, December 1, 2025: The air was electric with enthusiasm and joy as the “Play Dons the Colors of Paithani, Honors the Power of Women!” and ‘Maha Lucky Draw’ event, organized by Sneha Ranjit Kalate, Chairperson of the Ranjit Kalate Foundation, witnessed overwhelming and spontaneous participation from women, leaving the organizers deeply moved.
The event was a vibrant celebration of women’s spirit, where participants engaged joyfully in games and won lakhs worth of prizes in the Maha Lucky Draw. The impressive bounty included two-wheelers, TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, mixer grinders, and over a hundred exquisite Paithani sarees, allowing women to showcase their zest and revel in the festivities.
The program was graced by the presence of actress Sonali Kulkarni and Janhavi Killekar, whose attendance added further glamour and charm. RJ Akshay masterfully anchored the event, engaging all the women present with his unique style and making the celebration a resounding success.
Reflecting on the massive public turnout, Sneha Ranjit Kalate stated, “Witnessing the grand crowd at this thrilling event made me realize that the large family I have built through social work is my true strength. As I prepare to transition from social work into politics, my resolve is to work sustainably and effectively for the women of areas like Wakad, Pimple Nilakh, Kaspate Vasti, and Vishalnagar.”
The event was also honored by the presence of Shankar Jagatap, the dynamic MLA of Chinchwad Assembly Constituency, and Shatrughan Kate, BJP City President, along with other dignitaries and office-bearers. Their support and good wishes were gratefully acknowledged. Heartfelt thanks were also extended to all the sister-participants, and congratulations were offered to the winners of the Maha Lucky Draw.
